Word . . .

It was brought to my attention that I haven’t used WordPress in several years. Looking back on it now, I find WordPress somewhat tedious and not very intuitive to manage so I am kicking it to the curb as it is one less non-reality thought in my life.

My website,  davidleeblack.com, Facebook, Instagram and other sites living on the web should suffice so please say hello there.

In the meantime, here is a picture of my boot at Two Trees, Mount Pollusk, Amherst, MA:

When asked to do a shoot for these two talented musicians, this scene is the first thing that came to mind. We set up my Road King in the driveway and with a leaf blower, added some effect. The results hopefully captured the crazy fun nature of Dave Richardson and Jan Schmidt.
Also . . . this:
“When you live in the shadow of insanity, the appearance of another mind that thinks and talks as yours does is something close to a blessed event.”

moths . . .

“The Moth don’t care when he sees The Flame.
He might get burned, but he’s in the game.
And once he’s in, he can’t go back, he’ll
Beat his wings ’til he burns them black…
No, The Moth don’t care when he sees The Flame. . .
The Moth don’t care if The Flame is real,
‘Cause Flame and Moth got a sweetheart deal.
And nothing fuels a good flirtation,
Like Need and Anger and Desperation…
No, The Moth don’t care if The Flame is real. . . ”
